	With GEMEX your belts tension is checked & corrected in 2 minutes · Connect the hydraulic pump on the Gemex Cylinders · Pump up your hydraulic pressure up to i.e. 50 bar · With a hammer, unlock the “mechanical lock” of the Gemex Cylinders · Your machine is now supported by the “hydraulics” of the Gemex · Check your belt pressure via the manometer (hydraulic) · Adjust the tension with a motion of the hydraulic pump · With a hammer, lock mechanically the Gemex Cylinders · End of intervention Advantages: · high security during technical intervention · comfort due to accessibility of maintenance · no need to undo the belt covers · no need to realign the pulleys · longer life cycle of belts – pulleys – bearings · energy saving · shorter maintenance stops · if needed, adjustment of belt tension while machine rotates

MESUREMENT OF OUTPUT EFFICIENCY AT STORA ENSO FORS

The installation is a wooden chips pump.
Motor = 110 kW.
8 belts SPB.
The first measurement is done on a regular installation with new pulleys and belts. The recommended tension was put on the belts, the alignment is done with the Laser BTA equipment, with tensioned belts
The second measurement was done in the same condition with new pulleys and belts, installed on a Gemex System. The alignment is done without having the belts under tension.
