Tools needed for exchanges of belt
or for adjustment of the position are:
Forging hammer and a hand driven
hydraulic pump.
Follow these steps when adjusting:

Remove the
protective plug from the hydraulics connection nipple and clean the nipple
carefully.

Connect the
hydraulic pump to the connection nipple. Pump until you reach a slight
reference pressure. (Picture 2)
|
|
|
Loosen the
locking lever with the forging hammer and move the lever to position "Open".
(Picture 3)
Make the adjustment.

|
|
Move the locking
lever to position "Locked" and strike the lever with a few blows, using
the forging hammer, to secure* it. (Picture 4)

|
|
Loosen the
hydraulic pump from the connection nipple and fix the protective plug.
(Picture 5)
|
| NOTE! In aggressive environments,
grease the connection nipple before you connect the protective plug.
The unit is now ready for operation. *Tightening torque corresponding to 950 Nm (95 kgm). |
