ADJUSTMENT

Tools needed for exchanges of belt or for adjustment of the position are:
Forging hammer and a hand driven hydraulic pump.
The following measures are valid when making adjustments:

Dismount the protective plug for the hydraulic connection nipple and clean the connection nipple carefully.
Connect the hydraulic pump to the connection nipple. Pump until you obtain a back pressure.

Adjustment vertical

Loosen the lock lever using the forging hammer and turn the lever to position "Open". When retensioning of the belts, increase the pump pressure up to the right manometer pressure and lock the cylinders as below.
When exchanging belts, release the hydraulic pressure.

Dismount any belt guard, press down the belts to place the motor in service position.
Make the belt exchange and increase the pump pressure to the right manometer pressure.

Adjustment vertical

Turn the lock lever to position "Locked" and strike it carefully with the forging hammer to secure it. The tightening torque corresponding to 950 Nm (95 kgm).

Release the hydraulic pressure and loosen the hydraulic pump from its connection nipple and fasten the protective plug.
NOTE! In aggressive environment, grease the protective plug before connection to the nipple. The unit now is ready for operation!
