Mount the motor "loosely" as well.

Make adjustments for position and parallelity. With the cylinders in lower position, look for a position where the belts can easily be assembled and tensioned. Make sure that the motor gets the correct position considering belt covers and connections, and that motor and adjacent equipment will not collide. Start with tightening the supports, make the final adjustments when tightening the motor. Throughout the tightening phase, make sure that pulleys are aligned and that shafts are parallel in the adjustment interval. If possible use a laser alignment tool

Assemble belts and tighten to correct tension*. Release the cylinders to the lower position so that the belts are totally relaxed. Check parallelity and alignment again and make a fine adjustment if necessary. After tighten all bolts. Adjust to desired belt tension according to instruction "Adjustment".

* Please note that the cylinders for safety reasons are constructed so that they will be evacuated if pumped up too high, thereby exhausting the oil into the rubber bellows.
